3 WEEK DIALOGUE COURSES
EACH ONE AVAILABLE as STAND-ALONE CLASS or in DISCOUNTED COMBO PLANS
DIALOGUE I: Beginner — Basics
Learn how to format dialogue and why. Explore the use and abuse of dialogue tags (he said, I laughed, they shouted), including Tom Swifties and other urban legends. Cure chronic as-you-know-itis, aka info dumps.
DIALOGUE II: Intermediate — Naturally
You talking to me? Balancing narrative and flying solo. A dash of dialect. Authentic language isn't always four-letter words.
DIALOGUE III: Advanced — Double Duty Reveal characterization, enhance description and setting - while moving plot forward - beyond the no info-dump zone.
Assignments for Character and
Dialogue Courses emailed to students on
Monday of each week and must be completed and emailed back to instructor
by midnight (Central Time) the following Sunday. Questions? Contact
