Open to all writers Internationally. Exception: Members of Smoke City Narrators.

Entries
must be in English,
Original & Unpublished. That includes Internet, eBooks, Self-Published
and POD (Print on Demand).
3.
Entries assigned a number when received and blind judged. Do Not put
your name on entries.
4.
Please keep a copy of entries because they will not be returned.
5.
Multiple Entries OK (max. of 4) but Only One Prize Awarded to any
Winner.
6.
Entrants
from a previous year may enter new novels.
Previous entrants,
other than the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, may also re-enter the
same novel -- If the first five pages have been revised beyond the
level of pushing commas around.
7.
Novels need not be complete.
8.
OPTIONAL: The 9 finalists will have their pitch posted on SCN's
website & blog when winners announced.
9.
Novel pages Not published. Authors retain all rights.
10.
Winners notified by email prior to announcement on SCN website.
Awards
issued by check and mailed within a week after the announcement.
Winners residing outside the United States may request a different
payment method.
11. Brief comments helpful to all entrants posted on website within a few weeks after winners announced in March. We may also send feedback directly to some writers.
12. Rule violations will result in disqualification and those entry fees will not be returned.
